About the Musical
Following the death of his father, Prince Ian struggles with the high ideals of love and duty as, according to the law, he must marry in order to become king. A compromise is reached by throwing a ball, at which it is hoped that Ian will find his true love. Like a Fairy Tale follows Charisse of Ashbury Manor as she attempts to go to the ball, having been left at home by her stepmother and stepsisters. But not everything in this story is as Cinderella-like as she would have hoped.
